Nets Mourn ‘Desperate’ Immigrant Caravan Being Denied U.S. Entry

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 20:31

On Monday, all three network shows recited the same liberal script as they bemoaned a caravan of over 100 migrants from Central America being blocked from entering the United States illegally. The Border Patrol simply doing its job was portrayed as a cruel act that created a “desperate situation” and “crisis at the border.”

American Idol Drag Queen Blames Loss on America Not Being ‘Open’

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 19:11

An American Idol drag queen contestant is blaming his recent elimination from the show on America’s “openness,” rather than his own talent.

Celebs, Media Defend Wolf’s Insults Targeting Trump Administration

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 19:02

Comedienne Michelle Wolf is a hero, according to media and Hollywood figures who are racing to defend her recent outrageous statements, regardless of how the rest of America reacts.

Washington Post Editor Hails Michelle Wolf's White House Performance

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 18:36

Although even the White House Correspondents Association has distanced itself from the vulgar performance of comedian Michelle Wolf at their dinner on Saturday, a Washington Post editor has hailed her "cringeworthy" routine. That would be Molly Roberts whose bio at the Post describes her as "editor, writer and producer for The Post's Opinions section." Roberts endorsed Wolf's poor taste delivery on April 29 in Michelle Wolf got it just right:

CBS Cheered ‘Standout’ White House Comic Before Knocking ‘Extreme’ Performance

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 18:23

CBS was for the vulgar White House Correspondents Dinner before the network was against it. On Saturday, CBS This Morning journalist Jamie Wax praised the “standout” comedian Michelle Wolf, touting her as “singled out for the quality of her comedic craftsmanship.” Two days later, hosts on the same show chided the “below the belt,” “extreme” performance.

NY Times Magazine Asks Jimmy Carter: ‘Do You Think America Is Committing War Crimes?’

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 18:18

Former president and quite liberal Jimmy Carter actually managed to come off more moderate and less anti-Trump than the journalist interviewing him for the New York Times Sunday magazine. Carter was interviewed by Dan Amira, a writer for the Daily Show With Trevor Noah on Comedy Central -- an interesting choice -- about his new book Faith: A Journey for All. Among the liberal questions: "You were the president during the Cold War. Who’s the greater threat: the Soviet Union then, or Russia now?"

CNN Panel Tries to Excuse Michelle Wolf; Trump ‘Goes Over the Line All the Time’

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 18:09

As part of the liberal media’s ongoing damage control following Saturday’s disastrous White House Correspondents Dinner (WHCD), Monday’s New Day saw some CNN personalities concede that some of comedienne Michelle Wolf’s jokes crossed a line, but expressed resignation and tacitly defended it as if it’s a new normal because President Trump “goes over the line all the time” and “comedy's supposed to be uncomfortable.”

'Terrific Comic'? Kathy Griffin Hugs Ana Navarro for Image-Rehab Puffery on 'The View'

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 16:40

Leftist comedian Kathy Griffin came on ABC's The View on Monday to emphasize again that she retracts her apology for the scabrous Trump-beheading photo stunt. Everyone on the set supported her. No one represented the view that Griffin was wrong the first time, and then wrong to retract her apology, which now looks obviously insincere and only out of fear for her career. The gushiest moment came from "Republican" Ana Navarro, who was so effusive in her praise (a "terrific comic with an incredible record") that Griffin ran over to hug her in her chair.

NBC Excuses Offensive Correspondents’ Dinner: ‘The President Has Said Much Worse’

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 16:23

In an attempt to rationalize the crude and offensive performance by comedian Michelle Wolf at Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, on Monday, co-host Savannah Guthrie led off NBC’s Today show by noting that “the performer’s defenders say the President has said much worse.”

Ruhle Suggests 'Serious Hypocrisy' in Banning Guns from Pence Speech

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 15:00

On Monday morning, MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle read a brief suggesting "serious hypocrisy" on the part of the NRA for barring guns from a speech by Vice President Mike Pence because the pro-gun group generally supports allowing law-abiding citizens to bring guns into most public places. It seemed to be lost on the MSNBC host that the Secret Service will be providing security for the event, so the normal arguments for allowing the average person to be armed for self-defense are not as relevant.

Clay Travis Says Trump Deserving of Nobel if North Korea Story Fairly Covered

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 14:00

Outkick The Coverage sports blogger and former Fox Sports Radio host Clay Travis writes that President Donald Trump should win the Nobel Peace Prize for a denuclearized peace between North and South Korea. But without the support of the "dishonest" media, that won't happen, Travis wrote.

Press Apparently Has Its Scalp Even As Secret Service, White House Refute Ronny Jackson Smears

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 12:56

The American people don't trust the establishment press, as seen in a Pew Research poll result released Thursday showing that only 8 percent of Americans have "a great deal of confidence" that the media will "act in the best interests of the public." Here is one more example showing why this attitude is entirely justified: The Secret Service, after a thorough investigation in response to anonymous, media-promoted smears, is reporting that it found "no information that would indicate" that a misconduct allegation against withdrawn VA nominee Ronny Jackson is true.

Daily Beast Hails 'Alarming Relevance' of Anti-Trump 'Misery Porn' in 'The Handmaid's Tale'

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 10:49

The TV drama The Handmaid's Tale -- airing on the streaming service Hulu -- is the darling of Hollywood, winning a batch of Emmy awards for portraying a cartoonishly cruel Christian theocracy that is “eerily resonant” with what Trump voters would do if they could. The show's creators are so committed to scaring people about Trump that USA Today complained that "Season 2 verges on misery porn."

Obamacare Car Destroyed to Crowd's Cheers in ‘Simpsons’ Demolition Derby

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 06:42

In the April 29 episode of Fox’s The Simpsons, “Forgive and Regret,” the Legends of Demolition Derby comes to Springfield and Homer’s old car is entered. His car makes it to the final round and the challenging car is called "Car-rak Obama’s Affordable Healthcare Mobile," which, the announcer adds, “You can’t kill no matter how hard you try.” That would be funnier if it weren’t so true about the struggles against Obamacare.

'Madam Secretary:' Climate Change Is 'Existential Threat Of Our Time'

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 05:42

Climate change has not been a new topic for CBS’s Madam Secretary, but it has provided some unintentionally hilarious results. The latest take sadly is not as amusing as it buries natural gas in the State Department's crusade to save the planet from the “existential threat" of global warming.

'The Good Fight' Characters Acquire Golden Shower Tape, Plot to Reveal it Before 2020 Election

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 02:50

It continues to be very clear that CBS’s The Good Fight can only be enjoyed by liberals. The constant Trump-bashing is one thing, but the show delights in portraying Republicans as evil idiots while Democrats are portrayed as America’s reasonable saviors. Sunday’s episode, “Day 464,” focuses on the allegations in the Steele Dossier that Trump acquired the services of prostitutes in a Ritz-Carleton Moscow hotel room. Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) receives proof of the unproven golden showers incident through a USB flash drive labeled “P.P.” When the partners plug the flash drive into the computer to watch, a golden glow shines on their faces. Once they confirm that the tape is in fact real, Democratic National Committee consultant Ruth Eastman (Margo Martindale) hides a copy of the flash drive in an envelope labeled, “Open October 2020,” evidently to be revealed right before the next presidential election.

Gay MSNBC Guest Defending Joy Reid: Pence 'Would Have Us All In Concentration Camps'

Mon, 04/30/2018 - 01:00

On her MSNBC show AM Joy, Joy Reid lined up her supporters on the radical gay left to change the subject from her anti-gay blog posts from a decade ago to the usual MSNBC hysteria. Brandon Wolf of the Dru Project repeatedly attacked the "homophobic psychopaths" in power and even suggested if he were ever president, Mike Pence would "have us all in concentration camps hoping to pray away the gay."

National Press Which Minimized MS-13 Threat Now Silent As Gang's Members Ordered to Kill Cops

Sun, 04/29/2018 - 23:48

On Wednesday, Fox News's Tucker Carlson highlighted MS-13's call for its members to kill police officers in Nassau County on Long Island. Only a few months ago, many members of the establishment press were criticizing the Trump administration's targeting of the gang in its law-enforcement efforts. They and the national press in general have been disgracefully quiet about this latest development.

New York Times Editorial Board Begs Justice Kennedy Not to Retire

Sun, 04/29/2018 - 23:36

Remember all those times during the Barack Obama presidency when the New York Times begged Justice Anthony Kennedy to not retire from the Supreme Court? No? Well, that's probably because it never happened. However, now that Donald Trump is president, the Times is begging Kennedy, considered to be a swing vote, to remain on the High Court bench.

MSNBC Invites Khizr Khan to Slam Pompeo for Criticizing Radical Muslims

Sun, 04/29/2018 - 22:55

On Saturday afternoon, MSNBC anchor David Gura played a couple of edited clips of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo speaking to a church in 2014 and invited guest and Democratic activist Khizr Khan to complain about how the then-congressman spoke about Muslims -- even though, seconds later in a part of the speech MSNBC omitted, Pompeo was clearly referring to what he described as "absolutely a small minority within the Muslim faith" being at war with Christianity.
