Maryland Schools Political Correctness Has Gone Too Far
A school in Montgomery County Maryland is going to require middle and high school students to read about Islamic teachings. Where in the hell is the ACLU on this issue?
This country was not founded on Islam, but Christian beliefs and our courts have stripped that from our schools. Prayer in school is gone, the 10 commandments are gone from our courts, even though they are the foundation of our law. Replaced is a Politically Correct version of Islam.
This is serious and I can only hope the people of Maryland wake up and don't let this bull-shit happen. I will be contacting my elected officials. If you you're smart, you'll head off this type of PC thought before it even gets started.

i must say, i agree with you. i do not have children, but i am a resident of maryland. i went to maryland schools, my college alma mater. with the removal of prayer and the commandments, who came up with the idea of islamic teachings?
