Science Czar: There Is 'Consensus' on Climate Change

Obama's chief scientist thinks a strong consensus is sufficient evidence for Global Warming, despite the fact that the data was skewed to reflect what these nut jobs wanted.

The science showing that greenhouse gas emissions from human activities are causing a dangerous warming of the world's climate is sound, President Barack Obama's top scientists said on Wednesday, despite controversial e-mails stolen from climate researchers. (Reuters)

This is just another example of the shear arrogance of this administration to do whatever they can to push their agenda.  I think that someone should tell John Holdren that the "consensus" years ago supported the Earth as being flat, but we know how that worked out.   Science is about facts; facts proven through solid tests, experimentation and data, not "consensus."

Listen To The Gitmo Five

If you have not read the article Ralph Peters posted on the New York Post, below is a short snippet:

Framed in florid quotations from the Koran, the Gitmo Five - hard-core terrorists, including Khalid Sheik Mohammed - proclaimed in a filing released by a brave military judge that "We are terrorists to the bone" who regard the charges resulting from "the blessed 11 September operations" as "badges of honor."

Why is it so hard for these idiots in Washington to grasp that these terrorists want to kill as many Americans as they can, whenever and wherever they can?  Peters raises some good points in his article and we as Americans would be wise to start asking our politicians the hard questions.

Drilling For Oil In The US

How high will gas prices go before we say enough is enough?  I think we need to start drilling in the US now.  What do you think?

"BOMBS AWAY" Iran, Nukes And The World

We all know Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sounds crazy at times, but is he really crazy like a fox? Seems our political backbiting here in the US, the weak EU and the incompetent UN have created a perfect storm for Iran to finally obtain nukes.

An article in the NY Posts, written Amir Taheri titled ”BOMBS AWAY WHY THE US POLICY ISN'T WORKING - AND IRAN WILL GET NUCLEAR WEAPONS",  paints a grim, but logical scenario leading up to Iran finally obtaining nuclear weapons. This of course assumes Israel does not attack them first.  Well, it looks as if the future could get very interesting.

Bush Vetoes Bill Barring Use of Waterboarding (UPDATED 11 March 08)

UPDATED: Not everyone agrees with the California Nuts Feinstein and Pelosi.  The Bush Veto stands.  Read the Fox News Story below.

WASHINGTON — House Democrats on Tuesday failed to overturn President Bush's veto of a bill that would have prohibited the CIA from using waterboarding and other harsh interrogation techniques on terrorist suspects.

I'm glad he vetoed this bill.  Waterboarding is a tool that has saved American lives and prevented other attacks on the United States.  Waterboarding "simulates" drowning, the key word here is simulates.  How in hell can that be compared to the physical and mental torture that Al-Qaida, the Viet Cong, the Japanese, the Iraqis, the Kamere Rouge and countless other groups and countries have inflected on people around the world.  In the Fox News article below, Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California is quoted as saying "This president had the chance to end the torture debate for good, yet he chose instead to leave the door open to use torture in the future." I suggest Sen. Feinstein ask Nancy Pelosi (the other California Nut Case), why in September 2002 when she was briefed on the procedure, that she did not raise the issue of torture then.

Waterboarding has only been used a few time and it has worked.  Let me know what you think.

Bush Vetoes Bill Barring Use of Waterboarding - President George W. Bush said Saturday he vetoed legislation that would ban the CIA from using harsh interrogation methods such as waterboarding to break suspected terrorists because it would end practices that have prevented attacks.
