Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the Democrats have finally pushed through the massive health care bill and Obama signed it into law today hanging a tremendous burden on the American people.  This bill adds trillions to our national debt, does nothing to reduce raising health care costs and will result in a significant decrease in the quality of health care Americans have enjoyed over the years.  Even those who did not have health care received quality emergency care in the hospitals.  Below is a short excerpt on Government cost estimates from Michael D. Tanner of the CATO Institute.

For example, when Medicare was instituted in 1965, it was estimated that the cost of Medicare Part A would be $9 billion by 1990. In actuality, it was seven times higher — $67 billion. Similarly, in 1987, Medicaid's special hospitals subsidy was projected to cost $100 million annually by 1992, just five years later; it actually cost $11 billion, more than 100 times as much. And in 1988, when Medicare's home-care benefit was established, the projected cost for 1993 was $4 billion, but the actual cost in 1993 was $10 billion. [Michael D. Tanner of the CATO Institute]

So do you really think passing this bill was good for America?  I think it is past time we run these incompetent idiots out of town.

President Obama said back on May 2nd of 2006, "Eight months after Katrina, there’s no longer any emergency that justifies a no-bid contract that might have been entered into the days after Katrina." (Obama Speeches.com)

So what did we learn today?  "...the Obama administration this month awarded a $25 million federal contract for work in Afghanistan to a company owned by a Democratic campaign contributor without entertaining competitive bids,..." (James Rosen, 2009).

Now this company is going to "train the next generation of legal professionals" throughout the Afghan provinces and thereby "develop the capacity of Afghanistan's justice system to be accessible, reliable, and fair." (James Rosen, 2009)   Are they kidding? 

How long will it take for America to see this man for who he truly is - just another lying politician out to reward his cronies?

Just when you thought it could not get any better... It appears that President Obama is planning to go out to Nevada to "help" campaign for Reid, who is trailing in all the polls.

I say Great!  The "Big Cheese" riding in on his big white plan to save the day.  After all, look how well it worked in the VA Governor’s Race, the NJ Governor’s Race, Copenhagen for the Olympics, Copenhagen for the Climate Boondoggle, and just look at how much he helped Martha Coakley. This President just don't seem to get it, but I hope the people of Nevada show Harry the same "love" as the people of Massachusetts showed Martha.

To the great people of Nevada, "America is counting on you to do the right thing and send Harry to the unemployment line."

The Democrats, always living in a fantasy world, really thought the American people voted for the Socialist agenda that Obama was selling.  The fact is, as I said before here, Obama was elected because he was not Bush and to support that claim, all you have to do is look at Obama's and Democrat's poll numbers and what people think of the direction the Nation is heading.  These numbers say we do not want to continue down this Socialist road of "Big Government", Tax Hikes" and "World Appeasement".

So now, the Democrats,  "Desperate for Edge in Election Year, Dems Turn to Old Strategy" (Fox News), but they still don't get it do they.  They forget they have had control of Congress for three years and Obama has been President for close to one year.  It is well past time for these idiots to "put their big boy and big girl panties on and deal with the facts".  Blaming Bush and the Republicans for where we are now is getting old and the American people are quickly turning against all the BS they see in Washington. 

From the massive nut roll on Health Care, to the boondoggle in Copenhagen, to trying terrorists in criminal courts, this administration is completely out of touch with the majority of Americans.  Let's hope the American people continue to see through this BS and take back America in 2010.  To keep informed, check out these links:

This is just another example of the shear arrogance of this administration to do whatever they can to push their agenda.  I think that someone should tell John Holdren that the "consensus" years ago supported the Earth as being flat, but we know how that worked out.   Science is about facts; facts proven through solid tests, experimentation and data, not "consensus."

President Obama is said to be trying to convince Congress to hold off on any investigation of the Ft Hood Terrorist Act until law enforcement and military officials have completed their investigation.

"On an eight-day Asia trip, Obama turned his attention home and pleaded for lawmakers to "resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater." He said those who died on the nation's largest Army post deserve justice, not political stagecraft".  (Fox News)

Really?  He thinks lawmakers should "resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater".

Then I ask why is the AG providing Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four others the same Constitutional rights as any American?  Why are they coming to America to stand trial when the US has a tried and proven history of Military Tribunals that are capable of trying these terrorists? Why is the President and the AG insisting on "political theater" for the 911 attacks?

He does not want a "political theater" for the stressed-out MAJ. Nidal Malik Hasan (TERRORIST) who murdered innocent victims at Ft Hood, but has no problem allowing "political theater" for the terrorist who killed thousands on 911.

The "political theater" Obama is trying to prevent with the Ft Hood massacre will only be multiplied a thousands times over with his plans to big these terrorists to New York.  This trial will be all about the Bush Administration, Cheney and  waterboarding and very little about these animals killing nearly 3,000 innocent Americans.  To me this sounds like "political stagecraft"  and not justice.

This is a sad day for America and an even sadder day for the families of the victims of 911.

As the Obama administration tries to spin the "Tea Parties" over the week, their comments only reinforce the public's view that the Obama administration is out of touch with main stream America.  Check out what Axelrod said:

"I don't think it's indicative of the nation's mood," Axelrod said on CBS' "Face the Nation." "You know, I don't think we ought to be distracted by that. My message to them is, they're wrong."  (Fox News)

The majority of Americans oppose health care reform, 49% to 47%.  So I think Mr Axelrod and the rest of the Obama administration need to pull their heads out of their posterior and start paying attention or they may be joining the millions of other Americans in the unemployment line.

In addition, I mentioned that one of the major problems with Obama's plan is that it does not do anything to increase the number of Doctors and other health care professionals needed to care for the additional patient increase of millions.  Well, read what Dr. Robert Flaherty of Boston has to say. 50 Million New Patients? As I have said before, this administration has a serious case of engaging their mouth before they engage their brain (Closing GITMO without a plan).  This President and his stooges are going to destroy this country.

The US Government took another step toward a more Socialist State today by sending letters to 52 insurance companies demanding "extensive documents for an examination of ‘extensive compensation and other business practices in the health insurance industry." (Politico)  Interesting enough, they never look in their own back yard for excessive spending of Tax payer's dollars, but feel compelled to look into private business's spending.  They have taken over the Auto Industry, the Banking Industry and now are working to take over the Health Care Industry. 

So now the US Government is applying a little Chicago Style Politics to the Insurance Companies who oppose a "Public" (Government Take Over) option health care plan.  Something the majority of Americans also oppose.  What types of strong arming can ordinary Americans expect?  

When is America going to wake up to the pending danger of Islamic Radicals? When are American businesses going to start doing the right thing and tell these hate groups to piss off?

Well hold on because Hizb ut-Tahrir  is coming to Chicago for their big “The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam” conference in an upscale Hilton Hotel. This group indoctrinates young kids from 9 – 18 years old “to absorb the ideology that calls for the formation of an empire — or "khilafah" — that will rule according to Islamic law and condones any means to achieve it, including militant jihad” (Fox News, 2009).

We need to let the Hilton Hotel chain know we will not stand by while they make money from the very groups who condemn the very capitalism that allows Hilton to make so much money. Please click on the above link and send your disapproval to the Hilton management.

Then you need to contact your government officials  and let them know you are tired of Radical Muslims using our very freedoms we cherish as a super-highway to their barbaric way of life.

Freedom of speech comes with tremendous responsibility and we can not just shut it down, but there comes a time when we must stand up and point to a wrong or we will not be around to benefit from those freedoms much longer.
