Everyday our Law Enforcement Officers walk a thin line between Serving and Protecting, and just surviving.  Today’s criminals are more violent, better armed and probably more likely to use deadly force in the blink of an eye, then ever before.

Every routine car stop has the potential to turn into a deadly encounter with some wacked out crack addict or an illegal alien wanting to escape deportation for multiple crimes.  According the Bureau of Justice, 49% of all inmates sentenced to prison in 2000 were there for committing violent crimes.

However, what I see happing is the total disregard for these officer’s rights in favor of the criminals “rights”.  There is something fundamentally wrong when a Law Enforcement Officer is charged with violating a criminal’s civil rights, when that criminal is commenting a crime.

Take the case of Stephanie Mohr, who was responding to a call for back up in an area known for a number of recent burglaries.  She arrived on the scene with her partner and her police dog Valk.  They spotted two men on the roof of a store and ordered the men to get down, but as they were getting down, one made a move as if he was about to flee.  Mohr, as she was trained ordered her dog after the man.

I ask you to read that article and please try to think about the injustice brought on this Law Enforcement Officer and mother.  When is it wrong to follow the orders and training you received to protect the public from criminals like Mendez and Cruz?  What kind of society locks up their Law Enforcement Officers and rewards Illegal Alien Drug Dealers for committing crimes?

Think about this and read some of the other cases the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund is fighting.  Remember, when you need someone to protect you, the lawyer will ask for an appointment and $300 dollars and hour, the criminal will just rob you if you’re lucky, but the Law Enforcement Officer will lay their life on the line for you.  I hope you will support this cause.

With a new administration elected, the economic crisis still hanging on, and the winds of change coming to America, I thought I would post a short explanation on the different types of Government and how they view the economy.

This comes by way of someone who left a comment and corrected me on a quote I used in my "Obama Wins Now What?" post.    Knight provided some additional information and links in his last post and I came upon this short description of Governments.   It provides a short, but interesting look at how some view Government.  It is from Fort Freedom.

In the interest of explaining the way various forms of government function politically and economically, the following examples (based on an old European joke) are presented for your edification:

Socialism You have two cows; there is an election. The new government takes one of your cows through taxes and gives it to your neighbor. The neighbor knows nothing of livestock so his new cow dies.

Communism You have two cows; there is a revolution. The new government confiscates both your cows and gives you a small portion of the milk they produce. Both cows soon die, but the government is able to get powdered milk on credit from a democratic government.

Fascism You have two cows; there is a military coup. The new government confiscates both your cows and sells you part of the milk for ration coupons.

Nazism You have two cows; there is an assassination. The new government confiscates both your cows and shoots you.

New Dealism You have two cows; there is a depression caused by the government, and then an election. The new government buys your cows with currency it has just printed. It then shoots one cow, hires an unemployed person to milk the other cow, and throws the milk away in order to help raise milk prices.

Democracy You have two cows; there is a surplus of milk and prices are low. You appeal to the government to subsidize your milk for the ``good'' of the country. The government enacts your program, raises taxes on its citizens, and buys your milk at inflated prices. It then stores the milk in rented warehouses until it spoils or they can find a communist government to buy it on credit and at a loss.

Capitalism You have two cows. You sell one cow and buy a bull. There is freedom and prosperity.

Today is Veteran's Day.   A day to remember all the brave men and women who served this great nation over the years.  As I reflect back over the 25 years I served in the military and look at the events of the last several months, I can't help but wonder what the future holds for our military. The political winds in Washington have shifted and our military may be in for even harder times ahead.   

Today, I ask everyone to think about all of our military members.  Be thankful they are the ones who volunteered to leave family members behind for months and years at a time, be thankful they are the ones who volunteered to die defending our country and our way of life, be thankful they volunteered, so you could enjoy the benefits of their sacrifices.

Report: Secret Order Lets U.S. Strike Al Qaeda Anywhere  I just read this article and it really pissed me off. 

First, when are we going to start holding these "anonymous U.S. officials" accountable?  The person or persons who leaked this information committed a serious federal crime and deserve to be shot.  Releasing classified information puts our nation at grave risk.  In addition, it increases the potential of death to our military conducting these operations.

Second, the New York Times, is the worst excuse for a news paper that I have ever seen.  Clearly they knew this story would sell some papers, but what is more disturbing is their total disrespect for the security of our nation and our military.  The reporters and editors who allowed this to be reported are just as guilty.

Our media needs to understand that people's lives are at stake when they release information like this and we as Americans need to stop buying into their sensationalism. 

Just a reminder for the idiots, we still have freaking extremists out there plotting to kill Americans.  Providing them with information that could cause the death of just one American puts blood on the hands of everyone involved in the initial release of this information.

Well Obama won the election by a landslide. The time has come to begin healing and bringing America together, but I’m not so sure that will be the case in the months and years to come.

First, let me say, I view his election with mixed emotions. I see a great time in our country for electing the first black as President. This is, as Obama himself said, a defining moment.

However, electing the wrong black man could turn back the hands of time. Obama has an enormous task in front of him and I have serious doubts about his ability to accomplish even a small portion of his promises. His failure may be seen by some, as one of race and not the fact that he was just not the right person for the job.

To me, Americans elected Obama because he was “Not McCain” and Not a Republican”. They did not elect him because they thought he was the best person for the job. Yes, I know some said that, but I really think Americans were so disgusted with Bush and the Republicans, that anyone could have won. Obama just happened to be black and a great talker, which made it even more interesting. People came out of the woodwork to vote for the “first black man”, not to vote for the best person to be President of the United States.

Martin Luther King said it best, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” This is exactly the issue I have with Obama. It is clear that he was “judged” or “elected” by the color of his skin and not by the “content of his character”. With so many unresolved issues about judgment, character and associates, how can this man be President?

Now that the American people have spoken, what can they look forward to in the coming months and years? Well I’m not a fortune teller, but I do think it will be interesting to see what happens with the following issues:

1. The full power of the Democratic agenda is about to take America by storm. We now have a Democratic President and Democrats dominate both the House and Senate by an even greater majority. It will be interesting to see how all those folks who voted for Obama will feel about their decision when Illegal Aliens begin receiving Social Security, Driver’s Licenses, increased free health care and our country is overrun with Illegal Aliens.

2. I would like to see how all those gun toting, Pennsylvanian’s and Ohioan’s are going to react when they have had most, if not all their gun rights taken away.

3. I would like to know how all those blue-collar workers are going to make their tax cut or tax credit rebate stretch to pay their bills when they no longer have a job due to Obama’s tax increases and health care mandates.

4. I would like to hear what all those folks who agree with Obama’s timetable for withdrawal from Iraq are going to say when we are back over there trying to finish the job we didn’t finish after a 25% cut in defense spending by Barney Frank and all his nut buddies.

5. I want to know what all the people who voted for “Free Corn” think when they begin to see the very freedoms they screamed about Bush taking away, are slyly pulled out from under their noses by Obama as they greedily eat from the government-subsidized trough.

Now I really hope I am wrong in my predictions, but somehow I can’t help but believing America has made a terrible mistake. In closing, I’ll leave you with a few quotes to consider that seem to fit this election.

I was looking back through some old emails and information I collected for ideas to post and came across this in an old email.  I know it has been spread around in emails for a long time, but I want you to reread it one more time.   As you read it, I want you to also consider Obama's comments and vision for where he wants to take America.  I know as I read again, a shiver ran up my spine.  Then read about Classical Conditioning.

There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist regime.

In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked 'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?' the professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said that it was no joke.' You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.'

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America. The government keeps pushing us toward Communism, Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax cuts, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.

One should always remember two truths: There is no such thing as a free lunch and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.

If you see that all of this wonderful government 'help' is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America, you might want to make a stand come Election Day.

Which candidates are promising to spread the free corn and what might their motives be? Think about it.
 

As the days get closer, I can't help but to think our country is in for the fight of its life.  Although the Presidential race is tightening, the possibility of Obama becoming President is still too high for me. Here is another bit of information you should consider.   I ask each American to think about all the issues surrounding Obama and don't just vote for him because you hate Bush.  Despite what Obama wants you to think, McCain is not another 4 years of Bush.  Don't let Obama's lies sway you into voting for a Socialist America, destined for destruction.  Vote for McCain/Palin next Tuesday...  For your future and the future of America.

The “Arab street” also favors Obama. Recent surveys found that he is the preferred candidate in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

I think Obama is a slick talking politician who has an agenda for the US.  That agenda is socialism and more corruption in Government.  Look at his position on the Issues and combine that with a Democratic House and Senate.  The Republicans may not even be able to muster a filibusterer.  He will have no one to balance out his extream policies.  Think about that and here are a few more things to consider.  This man becoming President scares the shit out of me.

1.  Obama is lying about Rev. Wright

2.  Obama is friends with terrorist, William Ayres and Rashid Khalidi

3.  Obama is a socialist.

4.  Obama has values that are not mine or many American's.

5.  Obama has even more radical friends who call for the murder of white people.

6.  Obama is lying more and has a bigger hidden agenda.

I hope you will consider these issues and vote for McCain/Palin.

I posted an article about "Honor Killings" a while back when a father killed his daughter for getting a divorce.  Well now, after nine months, the FBI has pulled their head out of their politically correct ass on another "Honor Killing" here in the U.S. and are now calling the murders of Sarah and Amina Said an "Honor Killing".    Well, no shit Sherlock!  Even the girl's great aunt was calling it an "Honor Killing" from day one.  She said "their Egyptian-born father killed them both because he felt they disgraced the family by dating non-Muslims and acting too Western, and she called the girls murders an honor killing from the start."  Now, it should not take a rocket scientist to figure out this was an “Honor Killing.”  So why did it take the FBI nine months to get a clue?  The girl's father gunned them down in the back of his taxicab on New Year's Day. 

Of course the executive director of the terrorist support group "Council of American-Islamic Relations or CAIR" , Mustafaa Carroll, said  "As far as we're concerned, until the motive is proven in a court of law, this is [just] a homicide,"  This idiot then went on to say “We (Muslims) don’t have the market on jealous husbands ... or domestic violence,”  No, I have to agree, but I sure as hell would say they have the market on murder in the name of religion.

 This shit needs to STOP! How many more people will be murdered in America and around the world in the name of the "Religion of Peace"?

 (21 OCT 08 UPDATE)  Well it looks like the FBI stuck their head back up their politically correct ass in regard to this murder.  According to Fox News, FBI Removes 'Honor Killing' From Murder Suspect's 'Wanted' Poster   " The FBI removed all mention of the controversial term “honor killing” from the wanted poster of a double-murder suspect after FOXNews.com ran a story announcing the use of the term." 

Just when I thought they were stepping up to the plate and calling this an "Honor Killing" they pull an about face.  This man murdered his daughters for reasons based on his believe of being disgraced - a believe that is all too often stated by Muslims.  You know what they say at AA meetings?  Recognizing you have problem is half the battle.  Folks the world needs to recognize we have a problem with "Honor Killings" and start doing something about this senseless murdering. 

I just saw this on the Fox Web site and thought it was really creepy.  It reminds me of those kids in Lebanon singing with the Jihad Mouse.  What the hell is up with these people today and this feeling they have for Obama?
