ABC’s Raddatz Disgusted by Skeptics of Allegations Against Roy Moore

Sun, 11/12/2017 - 15:29

Last week, The Washington Post reported that Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore allegedly pursued relationships with teenagers when he was in his 30s and that he allegedly molested a 14-year-old girl. It was the latest in the avalanche of recent sexual misconduct allegations sweeping the nation. And while many believed the claims, other took them with a grain of salt citing the timing as suspicious. On Sunday’s Good Morning America, ABC’s Martha Raddatz used her analysis to express her frustration and contempt for such people. “I don't really know what those voters are waiting for,” she huffed.

David Brooks on PBS: 'Tolerance of Bill Clinton' Made Sexual Harassment Easier?

Sun, 11/12/2017 - 13:54

New York Times columnist David Brooks appeared on the PBS talk show Charlie Rose on Friday night to discuss populism and how the “party stained by Trump” tries to “erase that stain.” Brooks openly declared Trump is a “destroyer” of the Republican Party. But in minute 23, Rose asked about sexual harassment. Brooks talked about how The New Republic had a “little ruckus” over in-house complaints about books editor Leon Wieseltier that didn't result in action.

Fox Biz Host Melissa Francis Scolds Dem Over Talking Points; He Promises He Won't Return

Sun, 11/12/2017 - 04:56

On the Fox Business Network on Tuesday, Happening Now host Melissa Francis would not let her Democratic Party guest get away with refusing to answer her question about tax reform. Eventually, she goaded former Clinton adviser Simon Rosenberg into acknowledging that he was refusing to answer her question (then why did he appear in what he knew was a discussion segment?); when she wouldn't move on without getting one, he promised that "I’m never coming back on this show ever again." Boo hoo.

MSNBC Guests See GOP 'Policy Pedophilia,' 'Last Days of Hitler's Bunker'

Sun, 11/12/2017 - 04:01

On Saturday's AM Joy on MSNBC, during a discussion of Christian conservatives who have defended Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore from accusations of sexual behavior with a 14-year-old, recurring liberal MSNBC guests Bishop William Barber and liberal author Frank Schaeffer both engaged in hyperbolic rants against white Christian conservatives. After Barber tried to link "white evangelicalism" to "white supremacy," and accused Christian conservatives of engaging in "policy pedophilia" by not doing enough to help poor children, Schaeffer likened white Christians to Adolf Hitler in the last few days of his life in his bunker, as Schaeffer ended up deriding himself as a "token old white fart" who gets to take part in the day's discussion at a racially diverse table.

DNC Chair Encounters Unexpected Turbulence On Univision

Sun, 11/12/2017 - 03:47

Cozy relationships will only take you so far, as was recently proven when DNC Chairman Tom Perez got caught trying to pull a fast one on last week's edition of Univision's Al Punto.

NPR Anchor Protests: We Weren't Openly Biased Like Jorge Ramos!

Sun, 11/12/2017 - 02:31

Even when conservatives express they view that any adult male who seeks out underage girls is a "pervert," they will still be questioned for suggesting the liberal media has a partisan tilt. National Public Radio has been rotating come fresh conservative pundits on their Week in Review segments on Friday nights, and Orange County Register columnist John Phillips said things that David Brooks never says -- that the media aren't trusted because they advocate for the liberal side. That drew a laughable reply from NPR anchor Kelly McEvers. She denied they had an openly anti-Trump, anti-Republican bias.

In a Sports Illustrated review of President Trump's interactions with sports figures and organizations in the year since he was elected, 79 percent of the opinionated mentions were negative. Compiled by SI staff members, the report includes 34 examples critical of the president and nine which are favorable. Seven were neutral.

Media on Texas Massacre: Attacker Had 'Military-Style' Weapon, But Hero Who Shot Him Only Had a 'Rifle'

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 22:14

The gun-control crowd quickly ratcheted down its political opportunism in the wake of Sunday's Sutherland Springs, Texas church massacre once it became known that a "good guy with a gun" put a stop to Devin Kelley's killing spree, saving dozens of lives. At RedState on Wednesday, Carl Arbogast noted that what remained was a double standard in press descriptions of the respective weapons used by Kelley and Stephen Willeford, the man who stopped him.

Jorge Ramos insulta a Puerto Rico en columna tóxica

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 21:50

Media Spin: From Virginia and New Jersey to the Dossier and Menendez

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 21:00

It is always amazing to see how the liberal media play their game of spinning for Democrats. The latest game? To try and convince people that Democratic wins in the Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial races were - gasp! - upset rebukes for President Trump! Yes, there were increases for Democrats in Virginia. Yes, polling such as that quoted here in The Hill, says Democrats were motivated by anger at Trump

Watching Netflix Election Doc Is Like Scanning Facebook Over the Past Year

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 17:15

Watching 11/8/16 is like scanning Facebook over the past 12 months. It isn’t pretty. The documentary, available now via iTunes, select theaters and Netflix, is a revealing look at our divided nation all the same. Only it shares more than the filmmakers likely intended.

Vox Writer: ‘Conservative Elites’ Have ‘Misled’ Their Followers About Climate Change

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 16:15

Liberals have little chance of converting conservatives on climate change, but eventually righties will get swept to the left on the issue whether they like it or not, believes David Roberts. In a Friday piece, Roberts maintained that “the weather is only getting worse, young people are only getting more engaged, and clean energy is only getting cheaper” and therefore “climate change and clean energy will be winning issues in the long term.”

Could Christmas Movies Be Making a Comeback?

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 16:15

It’s almost that time of year. Christmas is a time where people put up trees, decorate their houses in some of the most eye-popping ways possible, build gingerbread houses, spend time with their families. Of course, for many, what they truly celebrate is what Peanuts comic character Linus pointed out in the classic special A Charlie Brown Christmas – celebrate the birth of Christ.

Jorge Ramos' Poison Pen Strikes Puerto Rico

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 14:12

I came to expect two things after Jorge Ramos’ visit to Puerto Rico last week, where he went in order to “see how things were after the hurricane”: a laughably biased segment on Al Punto and an awful column. Upon reviewing both, I am more certain than ever that Jorge Ramos doesn’t care about Puerto Rico beyond its usefulness in furtherance of his agenda: his endless war on Donald Trump, the continued elevation of the Mayor of San Juan, and his longstanding advocacy for Puerto Rican independence.

Bozell & Graham Column: Rolling Stone, Sacred Text of the Left?

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 12:00

On November 9, Rolling Stone magazine celebrated the 50th anniversary of its first issue, published in the hippie neighborhood of Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco. True to form, liberal journalists – who claim to care so deeply about the menace of fake reporting – honored founder Jann Wenner and dismissed as insignificant the magazine’s 2015 “A Rape on Campus” scandal about the University of Virginia. The "cultural bible of baby boomers" was honored.

'Jane the Virgin' Character Comes Out as Bisexual

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 04:15

Season three of Jane the Virgin was disappointing to me in its heavy-handed political content, and season four looks like it's going to hit us over the head with even more social justice storylines. The November 10 episode, "Chapter Sixty-Nine" was big on sexuality and all the buzzwords that come with it in 2017.

NBC Highlights Rand Paul Slamming Media Coverage of Assault by Liberal Neighbor

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 02:54

On Thursday afternoon, news broke that Republican Senator Rand Paul's office had disputed claims aired in the media that the Kentucky Senator had been in an ongoing dispute with his neighbor, Rene Boucher, before being tackled in his yard about a week ago, calling the accounts "fake news," and claiming that the two had not even spoken to each other in many years.

Democrat Governor of Puerto Rico Pushes Back Against Hyper-Partisan Univision Anchor

Sat, 11/11/2017 - 02:52

As if anyone needed more evidence that Jorge Ramos has become journalistically incapacitated as a result of his rabid anti-Trump activism, along comes a new weekly podcast hosted by the veteran Univision news anchor that reveals just how severe is his case of Trump derangement syndrome.
