Andrea Mitchell Sounds the Alarm Over Trump’s ‘Unlimited’ Nuclear Authority

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 16:26

On Tuesday, NBC Chief Foreign Affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell used an upcoming Senate hearing reviewing President Trump’s authority to launch nuclear weapons as an opportunity to engage in overwrought fearmongering on the Today show. She warned viewers about the President’s “unlimited” ability to launch a nuclear strike and fretted that military personnel would be required to follow his orders in that unlikely scenario.

Media Push Lefty Attack on Billionaires, Fail to Note Richest 3 Are Libs

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 16:17

Three billionaire CEOs have more wealth combined than the poorest half of the U.S. population and that’s a problem, according to a left-wing think tank and the liberal press. Only they didn’t seem to realize what they were saying.

A "progressive" group, The Institute for Policy Studies, released the study complaining about income inequality and the 400 richest Americans, but specifically calling out the top three: Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Amazon founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos and Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett.

Maxine Waters Leads an ‘Impeach Him’ Chant at the Glamour Awards

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 16:16

Award shows have now become recruiting grounds for liberals. At the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, on November 13, people like Rep. Maxine Waters (D-California) and Samantha Bee got to tell the “hundreds of high school girls” in the audience just how they felt about Trump and his administration. Waters tried to tell the audience to “join progressive organizations” and ended her awards acceptance speech with an attempt to start an “Impeach him” chant.

Former MSNBC Host Cenk Uygur Blames Christianity for the Holocaust

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 16:02

Former MSNBC host Cenk Uygur, co-founder of the ultra-left YouTube show “Young Turks,” launched into an attack on Muslim Reform Movement leader Zuhdi Jasser at the left-leaning Web summit in Lisbon, Portugal last week, blaming Christianity for the Holocaust. "Christianity was monstrous just 70 years ago, way worse than Islam has ever been!"

Nets Attack Sessions' Credibility For Investigating Clinton Foundation, E-mails

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 15:40

It seems the media can always find a new excuse as to why the Clintons’ numerous scandals over the years should be overlooked. Tuesday morning, the networks dismissively treated reports that Attorney General Jeff Sessions would be looking into hiring a special prosecutor to investigate the Clinton Foundation’s dealings with Uranium One and Hillary Clinton’s e-mails, casting blame on Sessions instead. All three networks also characterized the potential investigation as a partisan hack job orchestrated by President Trump against his former election “rival,” instead of against the former Secretary of State.

NY Times Op-Ed Writer Wants Facebook to Censor Pro-Life Content As 'Fake News'

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 11:52

In a Friday New York Times op-ed, Rossalyn Warren, described as "a journalist who regularly covers women’s rights and internet culture," wants Facebook to expand its definition of "fake news" to include "the vast amount of misinformation and unevidenced stories about reproductive rights, science and health." That is, Warren wants to marginalize and even silence legitimate pro-life messages, sites, facts, and viewpoints.

HLN Panel Dismisses Biden 2020 Citing His History of ‘Groping’ Women

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 05:00

With former Vice President Joe Biden making the rounds on his book tour, many in the media have been fawning over the idea of him running for president in 2020. But during HLN’s S.E. Cupp Unfiltered, the panel had a reality check for all those hoping and praying for Biden to be president. “And the other thing too is, going back to our previous story, in this environment where groping is obviously on the outs, do we really want Joe Biden as a nominee,” wondered Matt Lewis of The Daily Beast.

NYT Again Callously Uses Hurricane Harvey to Bash Houston’s Reckless Sprawl, Misery, and Hypocrisy

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 03:49

The front of the Sunday New York Times featured a 3,300 word story from Michael Kimmelman, “Houston After Hurricane Harvey: The Essence of America’s Struggle,” suggesting reckless free market building policies in Houston contributed to the massive damaged caused by Hurricane Harvey -- a reckless liberal charge in itself. Kimmelman’s hostility for Houston’s “runaway development” seeped out on Sunday’s front page: "For years, the local authorities turned a blind eye to runaway development."

CBS on Climate Change: ‘Saving the World Has Been Harder’ Since Trump

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 02:17

During Monday’s newscast, CBS Evening News was irritated by President Trump’s position on climate change and how he was putting America at odds with the rest of the world. “At a U.N. climate conference in Germany today, the Trump administration talked up fossil fuels, including coal,” chided Anchor Anthony Mason. “That puts the U.S. at odds with 194 other nations, but some American entrepreneurs and politicians want to make sure the administration does not have the final word.”

Flashback: Dan Rather Dismissed Clinton Rape Charge as Old News

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 01:13

The media's growing ardor (a la Matthew Dowd) that masses of female accusers must be believed in a Republican sex-assault controversy has never translated for Bill Clinton. Take, for example, our report in 1999 that not-yet-disgraced CBS Evening News anchor Dan Rather provided the Exact Opposite of the Matt Dowd philosophy. It was the Don Imus radio show -- then simulcast on MSNBC -- on February 23, 1999. When women cry rape, it doesn't matter whether it's true. It's too dated for the truth to matter.

The Big Lead Blogger Asserts Bad QB Decisions by Packers, Texans Strengthen Kaepernick's Collusion Case

Mon, 11/13/2017 - 23:16

In his blog "The Mike McCarthy and Bill O'Brien Colin Kaepernick Depositions Should Be Amazing," The Big Lead's Stephen Douglas proves he is clueless about what constitutes collusion and he is an out and out cheerleader for Kaepernick.

Tapper: ‘The Media Treated’ Bill Clinton’s Accusers ‘Poorly’; Not Given ‘Same Respect’ Moore’s Have

Mon, 11/13/2017 - 23:11

CNN’s The Lead host Jake Tapper made a keen observation on Monday afternoon about the media’s double standard when it comes to sexual assault accusers, pointing out that “the media treated” Bill Clinton’s female accusers “poorly” and were never afforded “the same respect” Roy Moore’s accusers have rightfully received these past four days.

Chelsea Handler Blames GOP, NRA for Mass Shootings

Mon, 11/13/2017 - 21:49

The November 10 episode of Netflix’s Chelsea is an unusual one. Titled “Making a Big Bang,” for once anti-Republican political discourses are not the goal of every single segment. The show is almost bearable. Then the last two segments happen.

Bill Maher: ‘What Is Wrong’ With Roy Moore’s 10 Commandments,That Don’t Condemn Rape?

Mon, 11/13/2017 - 21:48

On HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher November 10, the liberal anti-Christian talk show host laid into the Ten Commandments while talking about Alabama’s Roy Moore, with some particularly ignorant comments on what exactly the commandments prohibit. Asking his “Irish Catholic” guests, filmmaker Michael Moore and MSNBC host Chris Matthews about the Moore situation, he stupidly asked why “their” law didn’t prohibit the truly important things like racism, genocide and rape.

Juanita Broaddrick Schools Chelsea Handler: Don’t Forget What Bill Clinton Did

Mon, 11/13/2017 - 21:41

The amnesia some liberal members of the media have when it comes to OTHER powerful politicians accused of inappropriate sexual contact with young women is astonishing. A woman who accused Bill Clinton of raping her called entertainer Chelsea Handler out. On Sunday, the Netflix TV host Handler offered up this clueless tweet in regard to Roy Moore:

Unlike Her NBC Colleagues, Megyn Kelly Presses Biden on His Offensive Rhetoric

Mon, 11/13/2017 - 21:01

While Today co-hosts Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie invited former Vice President Joe Biden to bash President Trump for using heated rhetoric, their colleague Megyn Kelly actually demanded the Democrat answer for his own offensive language while in office. She pressed him on his “divisive” remarks over the years and pointed out that “both sides” were guilty of nasty attacks.

Veteran Yahoo Sports Writer Thinks NFL 'Attendance' Figures Mean Who 'Showed Up'

Mon, 11/13/2017 - 21:01

Jay Busbee has been a "writer for Yahoo Sports since 2008" who "has covered the Super Bowl, the Daytona 500, the Masters, the Indianapolis 500, the Kentucky Derby, the Final Four, NBA, NCAA football, and the MLB playoffs." It's hard to believe that someone with this level of experience can actually believe that reported "attendance" at National Football League games represents the number of people who actually "showed up" at the games. But he does, and he used that ignorance early Sunday evening to argue that attendance increased at Sunday's early NFL games.

Irony: Dowd Tells Stephanopoulos ‘The Default Position Ought to Be Believe the Women’ in Sex Claims

Mon, 11/13/2017 - 20:58

While discussing the Roy Moore allegations on Monday’s Good Morning America, ABC’s chief political analyst, faux Republican, and nasty politico Matthew Dowd ironically informed co-host and former Bill Clinton official George Stephanopoulos that, in sexual misconduct incidents, “the default position ought to be believe the women.”

NYT Op-Ed: 'Unsafe' to 'Trust' 'Violent' Whites in Trump's America

Mon, 11/13/2017 - 20:53

“Can my children be friends with black people?” Imagine opening Sunday’s New York Times and reading this racist headline. Well that’s exactly what the leading liberal newspaper in the country approved of enough to print in their paper yesterday, save for one word.

Morning Joe: Republican Tax Reform ‘Biggest Heist in History’

Mon, 11/13/2017 - 20:43

On Monday’s Morning Joe, the panel brought on liberal economist Jeffrey Sachs to talk about the Republican tax reform bill currently making its way through Congress. Somewhat predictably, Sachs used his platform to attack the plan as a form of “theft,” the “biggest heist in history,” and a plot by America’s “richest gazillionaires” to “bankrupt” the country for their own personal enrichment. Although the panelists repeatedly tried to get Sachs to say something sane about the Republican plan’s corporate tax cuts, he instead insisted on reverting to his talking points and never explained how letting people keep more of their own money is “theft.”
