Forgot to Laugh: Anderson Cooper Compares Trump to Wile E. Coyote and Mr. Ed

Thu, 01/11/2018 - 20:38

CNN host Anderson Cooper played the comedian on Monday night, mocking President Trump in his feature "The Ridiculist," comparing Trump's "stable genius" quote to two old comedy animals: Wile E. Coyote and Mr. Ed, as well as Mindy Kaling's character on The Office. Trump is always mocked for besmirching the seriousness of the office of President, but no one has that kind of respect for the office of Anchorman. They've besmirched it with their own arrogance, that everyone must have their snarky "take" on the world.

Alt-Left Insanity: Liberals Furious Conservative Mark Wahlberg Earned Money

Thu, 01/11/2018 - 19:04

In these days of woke Hollywood, even famous people dare not outdo women. If they do, they receive the wrath of 1,000 think pieces about how poorly women are treated in Tinseltown. Yep, Hollywood is racist and sexist and discriminates against conservatives. The media are upset by two of those. I bet you can guess which ones. But Wahlberg (nee Marky Mark) is being reviled because he did something smart. And because he’s conservative.

‘Be an Apple, Don't Be a Banana’: Conway Schools Cuomo on Drug Trafficking

Thu, 01/11/2018 - 05:31

Sparks flew during Wednesday’s edition of CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time when White House adviser Kellyanne Conway sparred with rude and demeaning host Chris Cuomo as they discussed the news of the day. But during one section, in particular, Conway took Cuomo to task for twisting the facts about the administration’s response to the opioid crisis and the border wall’s effectiveness on drug trafficking. “Be an apple, don’t be a banana,” she quipped, harkening back to a ridiculous CNN promotional ad.

MSNBC Hosts Wrongly Claim Ohio Purges Nonvoters After Just Two Years

Thu, 01/11/2018 - 05:20

On Wednesday, MSNBC was doing its part to spread misinformation that bolsters liberal spin on alleged "voter suppression" by Republicans as anchors Craig Melvin and Hallie Jackson -- hosting MSNBC Live at different times of day -- both wrongly claimed that, according to Ohio law, voters can be removed from the voting rolls if they fail to vote in just two consecutive elections. When Jackson was hosting, guest Jill Colvin of the Associated Press even joined in pushing the misinformation until the Washington Post's Aaron Blake stepped in to inform them that it actually takes about six years of not voting for a purge to happen -- but even he still fretted that other states might use the Ohio law as precedent to be more restrictive.

'The X-Files' Wants to Believe in Trump-Russia Conspiracy

Thu, 01/11/2018 - 04:53

Fox’s The X-Files clearly has a distrusting view of the Trump administration, as seen by the season premiere, but it’s this latest episode that really ratchets up the conspiracy theories. And by conspiracy, I’m talking about none other than the Trump-Russia connection that liberals desperately want to believe is more than just fiction.

Thu, 01/11/2018 - 04:14

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo granted an interview to The Hollywood Reporter to plug his temporary prime-time show, expressing his eagerness to "test power" with aggressive face-to-face interviews, like his usual marathons badgering Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway. When asked about how even current and former Fox hosts from Tucker Carlson to Bill O'Reilly questioned the brilliance of a Trump lawyer suing to cease and desist publication of the Michael Wolff book, Cuomo said they weren't really journalists.

Nets Applaud Lefty Judge’s Injunction Blocking Trump Action on DACA

Thu, 01/11/2018 - 02:01

On Wednesday, a federal California judge from the radical Ninth Circuit issued an injunction blocking the White House from reversing the Obama-era executive order that created the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA). NYT’s Strange New Approval for Trump as He Considers Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants

Wed, 01/10/2018 - 21:34

The New York Times may be at its most liberal on the immigration issue, and when President Trump seemed to warm to the idea of a path to citizenship for some illegals, reporters abruptly warmed to him, at least compared to the “hard-line anti-immigration activists” in his party. The lead story by Julie Hirschfeld Davis and Sheryl Gay Stolberg, “Trump Receptive To Working Out Citizenship Path," tempted Trump with chances of political victory, and provided the paper's usual “undocumented” euphemism for illegal immigrants.

Appearing on Fox Business’s Cavuto, the research director reminded, “This is the story they want to spend all their time on even though they can't confirm the most salacious details of Michael Wolff's book, even though there have been elements of the book that have been debunked.”
