CBS Hypes Lawsuit Claiming Remington Markets to Mass Shooters

Wed, 11/15/2017 - 02:35

After a shooting in California and another victim of a serial killer in Tampa Bay was found, CBS Evening News described Tuesday as a day filled with bloody gun violence coast to coast. Although accurate, the network tied it all together with a report touting a lawsuit brought by the family members of Sandy Hook victims against Remington Arms claiming company markets to mass shooters. While both ABC and NBC reported on the two shootings, CBS was the only network in the Big Three to highlight the lawsuit.

McHenry Criticizes GQ for Kaepernick's Citizen Award, Draws Nasty Liberal Backlash

Wed, 11/15/2017 - 00:10

Conservative former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry has dared to criticize Colin Kaepernick, a sacred cow and darling icon of the Far Left, bringing down the wrath of "media Khan" upon herself. After she ripped GQ magazine for selecting the unwanted football free agent as "citizen of the year," left-stream media lost it and began hurling outrageous insults her way.

The Corruption of Faith

Wed, 11/15/2017 - 00:05

When Jim Zeigler, the state auditor of Alabama, invoked the Bible to defend Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore against allegations that he had inappropriate contact with underage girls while single and in his 30s (which Moore has sort of denied), it signaled perhaps the final stage in the corruption of American evangelicalism.

MSNBC Triggered by All of Trump’s 'White' 'Male' Judges

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 23:11

On Tuesday morning’s MSNBC Live with Stephanie Ruhle, the eponymous host brought on Washington Post columnist and MSNBC contributor Matt Miller to discuss a New York Times piece calling attention to the fact that a current nominee to the federal judiciary did not disclose that he is married to a lawyer who works for the White House Counsel’s Office. Ironically, Ruhle herself failed to disclose that Miller was the Director of the Office of Public Affairs for Attorney General Eric Holder’s Department of Justice. Moreover, in the course of discussing the story, Ruhle couldn’t help but interject her bizarre complaints that Trump has been nominating too many “white,” “male” judges to the bench.

No Joke: WashPost’s Health and Science Section Profiles....Dan Rather’s ‘Renaissance’

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 21:55

During breaks in MSNBC’s live coverage of Attorney General Jeff Sessions testifying before Congress on Tuesday, anchors Andrea Mitchell and Katy Tur were both aghast that congressional Republicans urged the nation’s top law enforcement official to launch an investigation into numerous scandals swirling around Bill and Hillary Clinton.

NYT's Fiercely Feminist Writer Admits ‘I Believe Juanita' Broaddrick, Still Fears ‘Right-Wing Disinformation’

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 21:55

In an age where sexual harassment is dominating the spotlight, has Bill Clinton’s media Day of Reckoning finally arrived? Michelle Goldberg’s op-ed in Tuesday’ New York Times, “I Believe Juanita,” marks another crack in the ice of the liberal media’s cover-up of Clinton’s shameful, and shamefully dismissed, sex-harassment escapades. “Juanita” is Juanita Broaddrick, who in 1999 raised a credible allegation that she was raped by Bill Clinton in 1978, when he was attorney general of Arkansas. Broaddrick was demonized by Democrats and ignored by the media. It's a fairly big step from a fiercely pro-abortion Democratic defender like Goldberg. But she still can’t stop blaming the “right-wing,” as shown in the text box, “Coming to terms with Bill Clinton and right-wing disinformation.”

Cuomo Dismisses GOP Calls for Clinton Investigation As 'Political Spitball Contest'

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 21:35

On Tuesday's New Day, CNN host Chris Cuomo and Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan got into a contentious debate over whether the Justice Department should appoint a special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton over the Uranium One deal, and over the issue of the Clinton campaign seeking out information on Donald Trump from Russia. Cuomo was dismissive of the Republican effort, calling it a "political spitball contest," and suggesting that it was just "tit for tat" because of Robert Mueller's investigation into President Donald Trump's campaign.

George Takei Denies Sexual Assault Claims, Says ‘Pee Next to Me’

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 21:27

Timing is not George Takei’s strength, apparently.

When a model accused the Star Trek actor of groping him in 1981, Takei denied the allegations.. Less than a week later, on Tuesday, he focused his attention on lobbying for transgender bathroom rights instead, wearing a T-shirt with the statement: “You can pee next to me.” On social media, he posted an image of him wearing the shirt for Transgender Awareness Week.

'90s Flashback: Instead of Bill Clinton’s Accusers, CBS Hypes ‘Trailblazer’ Anita Hill

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 21:18

With all the focus on Roy Moore and accusations of sexual harassment, CBS chose to go back to the ‘90s for a historical example. But, no. Not Bill Clinton. Instead, a Norah O’Donnell segment hyped “trailblazer” Anita Hill. The CBS This Morning host even noted questions as to whether then-Senator Joe Biden did enough to stop Clarence Thomas.

Biden Still Mourning Clinton Loss, Hopes Trump Will Be 'Single Exception' in US History

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 20:25

Former Vice President and media darling Joe Biden has been making the rounds this week promoting his new book about his late son, who passed away in 2015. Unfortunately he is also using the book tour as an opportunity to bash President Trump. On CBS’s The Late Show Monday night, Biden trashed Trump voters' “phony nationalism” claiming they were “undermining the essence of the Bill of Rights.” He also hoped that the election of Trump would go down as the “single exception in American history,” while briefly touting how much greater a president Hillary Clinton would’ve been.

Boston Globe Columnist: 'Hand Over Your Weapons'

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 20:11

The headline at David Scharfenberg's Friday Boston Globe column reads: "Hand over your weapons." One might have expected the column to include a discussion of knives, arrows, swards, and the like. But of course, it doesn't. It's all about why "seizing a huge number of weapons from law-abiding citizens" (meaning "millions of those firearms") would supposedly be a good idea, and how this Herculean feat might be accomplished.

Roker Warns: Climate Change Will Make Texas Flooding ‘More and More Prevalent’

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 19:30

Axios Liberals Claim Politics 'Went Insane' Starting With Rise of Gingrich and Fox News

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 18:28

Jim VandeHei, the former Washington Post reporter and co-founder of Politico, inspired a "Special Report" to email subscribers headlined "How American politics went insane, in 6 steps.” That was the cleaned-up version. Inside the e-mail it was how politics went “bat [guano] crazy.” Mike Allen, his Axios co-founder, huffed and puffed that “ There are lots of reasons American politics went off the rails, but his VandeHei has proclaimed “six seminal events” caused our current insanity.

Lawrence O'Donnell: If Not for Trump, I Swear I’d Cover Menendez!

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 17:56

MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell would love to cover the Robert Menendez trial. He really would. But he simply can’t because... Donald Trump. That was the lame excuse offered by O’Donnell on Monday as he talked to a local Philadelphia radio host. Put on the spot about the media ignoring the Democrat’s bribery case, the liberal host blamed circumstances: “If we had any other president in the White House... the Menendez trial would be a very big item in all of our coverage.”

Morning Joe: Investigating Clintons Is ‘What Joseph Stalin Would Do'

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 17:31

After hyperventilating about the latest Trump-Russia story and claiming that Donald Trump Jr. talking to Wikileaks and Julian Assange was yet more evidence of “collusion,” on Tuesday, the Morning Joe crew were horrified to learn of the possibility that the Justice Department might appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Bill and Hillary Clinton for engaging in pay-for-play corruption with the Russian government. Host Joe Scarborough was especially troubled by this development. He declared that investigating the politically powerful Democrats for criminal activity was a “horrific” violation of “constitutional norms” and “the rule of law.” He even insisted that going after people for breaking laws is “what Joseph Stalin would do.”

CNN’s Toobin: Investigating Clinton 'Is What Happens in Authoritarian Countries'

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 17:01

You know once the media starts bringing out the “dictator” and “authoritarian” rhetoric when it comes to President Trump, they’re truly worried about what may happen. That’s where CNN went this morning after reports broke last night that the Justice Department may be appointing a special counsel to investigate the Clinton Foundation and Hillary Clinton’s e-mails. CNN’s Senior Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin took the news as a sign that America was turning into Russia, absurdly claiming that Fox News ran the Justice Department now, and that “this is what happens in authoritarian countries.”

Nets Bury Bumbling Biden’s Most Embarrassing Moments

Tue, 11/14/2017 - 16:56

The Joe Biden 2020 tease tour is in full swing. On Monday’s Today show, the former Vice President got well over of 20 minutes of interview time as the hosts pushed him to run for President and attack Donald Trump. However, Biden has an entire career full of stumbles, yet is still considered a serious politician, where Donald Trump, who actually won the presidency, is ridiculed almost daily by the press. Why? Because the liberal media has downplayed or completely ignored Biden’s most embarrassing and offensive moments. The following is just a sampling of Biden’s bloopers over the years and the minimal coverage they’ve received from the Big Three networks
