CNN/MSNBC Push Accusation Trump Treating Puerto Rico Poorly

<p>On Thursday, the federal government stepped up its hurricane relief effort in Puerto Rico by dispatching three-star Army general, Lt. Gen. Jeff Buchanan to oversee all operations. The move came as the sheer devastation from Hurricane Maria continued to cripple relief efforts and supply distribution. Instead of recognizing the unique and difficult challenge that trying the aid Puerto Rico was, both CNN and MSNBC tried to paint the Trump administration as uncaring of their plight.</p>

<p><em>Will & Grace</em> returned to television after an 11-year hiatus September 28 to ruin the good memories we had of watching <em>Will & Grace</em> in the past. The episode, "11 Years Later," took three minutes to catch us up on what we missed in the intervening years, then dove right into politics. It didn't let up in the entire episode, which was written around a trip to Washington, D.C. as an excuse to talk politics without the writers having to be clever.</p>

<p>In one of the lamest government-ethics stories ever to grace the front page of <em>The Washington Post,</em> Supreme Court reporter Robert Barnes offered an article/attack on new Justice Neil Gorsuch speaking at the University of Louisville alongside Mitch McConnell. The headline was “’Victory Lap’? Gorsuch’s critics cry foul over speeches.” They also forwarded complaints Gorsuch would speak and at the Trump International Hotel before the Fund for American Studies and before the Federalist Society. Hello? Liberal justices routinely speak before liberal groups. </p>

<p>On Thursday's <em>Deadline: White House</em>, Republican-leaning MSNBC most Nicolle Wallace was still fretting over Roy Moore's GOP primary victory in Alabama as she repeated her claims from yesterday that some of his past comments are "too offensive" to be shown on television. She also worried that his candidacy for Senate signals that the Republican party is "on a path to extinction."</p>

According to a <em>USA Today</em> affiliate, Torres and three supervisors in the city's public works department "pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree conspiracy on Friday for directing Paterson employees to perform work at a private warehouse leased by his daughter and nephew."</p>
